CC: I'm A Merchant

Not a thief. That's just how he gets labeled and infamously remembered for the rest of time.

I'm rather fond of these outfit It's fun. Though the original sketch (see here: [link]) he looked like a pirate Still, it's fun to draw.

But like the last doodle, this is Ferdinand's outfit back when he was parading around as a traveling merchant and then as an exile after his falling out with Sigfried. Of course this is a frontal view. I remembered after the cape was also supposed to have a hood, but I forgot, so... maybe he just uses his super long scarf as a hood at some points. Or later I'll just actually add the hood .

The layers and dark colours of course attribute to both his status as a traveler and later an exile. The layers help with the various changes in weather and the dark colours are for blending purposes.

He carries on his belt a small pouch, and his sword, which has three Shadow Charms embedded on it: two on the hand guard and on at the bottom of the pommel. The addition of the Charms gives the sword some reinforcement and slight magical properties. Later, after acquiring his chameleon form and the ability to morph that form to his will, his scarf doubles up as the sword as well, featuring the same Charm arrangement.

Generally, he would also carry along a larger pack with more essential items. This is definitely a more merchant-based trait, as the pack would also carry his wares.

Note at this point he also doesn't have pointed teeth and his eyes are actually a more natural green colour than what is usually seen. The pointed teeth, brighter eyes and longer tongue are side effects of his chameleon form which he gains much later from the point of time he wears this outfit.
