Sketch Dump 6

I sketch a lot. Also, it's late and my thoughts are all over the place tonight. Anyway, more doodles of Ferdinand, Sigel, Veronica, and Sigfried. Fun~ These are from over the course of the last few days, though the top four are just from today. Here's what we have.

1. Doodle of the front exterior of the Abney home. Being as Lincoln is also a cobbler/shoemaker, their home also has the family business attached to it. On the first floor is also the kitchen, living room, a small bathroom, as well as Sigel's and Veronica's room. Upstairs is Lincoln's (and of course once Olivia's) bedroom.

2. Rough floor plan of the first floor of the Abney home. I didn't get around to the second floor yet.

3. Ahhhh now these are the fun ones~ Today I was messing around with Ferdinand's chameleon form, as well as the design of a rather important statue in the story. The top two of these page were just brainstorming. The one on the left was Ferdinand, the one on the right the statue. Below those two is the second design of the statue, with a side and front view. I like this design a lot actually, so I'm thinking of probably using this one~ Below that, is Ferdinand.

4. This is a continuation of that last page. Only this is purely Ferdinand and I was messing wit his posing as a chameleon. Though he may have the form of a chameleon here, I wanted him to be more expression than how a real chameleon would be. I took a lot of inspiration with how they did Pascal from Tangled, though I didn't want to do the same thing with the eyes, so Ferdinand still has tiny eyes as a chameleon. See though, this works out, as the way his eyes are set up kinda look a bit like glasses. Also, even as a chameleon, Ferdinand seems to always have his eyes half-lidded. Ferdinand tends to pout a lot in this form, mainly because he doesn't like how small he is, considering how tall he is as a human. Veronica has issues with him complaining about her talking down to him sometimes because of this.

5. Doodle of Veronica with Sigel, because it's cute and I actually do like cute in this sense of the word cute. Little sisters and older brothers are awesome. I wish I had an older brother.

6. Sketch of When We Were Friends. I kinda just put this to fill space And as a comparison for 7.

7. Like I said, comparison. I'm currently working on the shading for this. One day, Sigfried and Ferdinand were best friends, the next day, they were trying to kill one another. Ahhhh friendship. Oh and side note: Poor Sigfried. His hair gets shorter while Ferdinand's gets longer. Oh well.
