Portal: The Boss

"Well now who's the boss? Who's the boss? It's ME"

I was just going to wait until I got back up to post this, but being as it's done and I'm up, I'm just gonna do it now.

This is my version of Humanized Evil/Power Mad/Not So Nice Wheatley. His outfit is basically the same aside from some small changes and a colour change. The colour scheme is based off the colours found on GLaDOs' body with some of Wheatley's colours thrown in.

The outfit is slightly different in the following ways: Lapels are slightly pointier, thought it's hard to see, the shoulder areas area also pointer, the cuffs of his sleeves are pointier, the bottom of his jacket is cut differently and is again, pointier (pointy stuff usually means "evil" in my book and stuff, y'know?), the boot area of his pants/trousers/whatever word you use are higher and go up to the knee and he has added "armour" bits. Oh, and he has black on the sides where his "brackets" used to be along with a red stripe (as that's what I saw on the side of him blah blah blah)

The armour bits are basically just to go with the plating found on GLaDOS' main body. Her Humanized version has some as well (mainly on the back and her shoulders, though her Portal 2 version is missing a shoulder pad) and also lets me have an area with some of Wheatley's original colour scheme. The wires on his back are attached to the two bits around his shoulders and drape from one shoulder to the other, forming a very rough cape-like shape.

Going back to keeping some of his original colour scheme in, using the armour bits allows me to do that and keep the area near his head in his usual light gray. This is to go with the fact that when attached to GLaDOS' body, his "head" is still the same old Wheatley core, while the rest of him is GLaDOS's body, hence a darker colour scheme.

Also, his little blue ball neck clasp is still there, it's just hard to see because of the angle of the picture.

Oh and the background is just the initial sketch I did of it. I digitally inked it and coloured it, but then, just because it looked cool, I multiplied the sketch over top of it again, just... because... it looked cool. That's why it looks the way it does.

I hope the giant essay on my design up there makes sense. It's about 4:30AM and I'm just kinda... tiredly ranting. But enjoy anyway and if I notice that I just wrote a bunch of gibberish, I'll fix it later. I heard birds right now though, so I better go to bed. Happy Easter everyone.
